Saw this story on World News Now (ABC) ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! I’m just tickled with how cool this is and that people have recognized what the dolphins are doing.

I wish everyone could see the news story (with commentary from scientists)…it could just be the thing that gets some people to start thinking differently about the environment and protecting all the creatures in it and their unknown potential.

I would like to know if you have programs for disabled adults to have a “close encounter” with one of these beauties. The dolphin is one of my favorite animals and I would love to “swim” with them. I have forgotten how to swim due to my stroke. I want so much to do this, so could you please send me some information? This is awesome! Bubble blowing Dolphins it’s awesome!

  24. Duane Cornella said on March 13, 2009 at 12:50 pm

Video on World News – 3/11/2009 – I question an obsrvation. During this video a commentator says the dolphin “bites” the bubble ring (paraphrased). If you look closely you will see that mouth never opens. Apparently, the rostrum was used to break the bubble ring. Also, the dolphins’ sonaring capabilities may have caused the “sewing” of the now smaller ring together.

  25. goddess said on March 13, 2009 at 1:30 pm

As a sailor of some 30 years, I’ve long been fascinated by dolphins. In the wild, out in the Gulf of Mexico, bursting thru the surface, playing in the bow wake of my sailboat. Sometimes swimming so close to the boat that you could reach out and pet them. As I sat watching the report on ABC World News, I was unable to stop smiling… it was simply Amazing!

    WONDERFUL ! AMAZING ! !
    … ABSOLUTELY SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS ! ! !
    plus..a super COOL video to watch ! ! ! ! !

IT REALLY IS A PRICELESS GIFT to share this planet with these fascinating human friendly and intelligent co-inhabitants.

    got’ta add..
    a LITTLE FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

PERHAPS we should be better caretakers of our oceans so they can thrive in other than aquariums.

THINK about that the next time you order sushi that was more than likely caught by Japanese longliners that are raping our oceans fisheries !

While our goverment is preoccupied with a recession, helping greedy bankers, insurance companies …and 2 wars ??????

    …..and we’re the intelligent species?
    OPPS!
